  • Website copy, marketing text, and written editorial content.
  • Visual design elements: layouts, colour systems, typography choices, icons, and illustrations created by the Increeks Design Studio.
  • Photographs and images produced or commissioned by Increeks.
  • Source code, scripts, and software authored by Increeks and not separately open-sourced.

Website Content License

Different parts of the Increeks website are published under different terms:

All Rights Reserved (Default)

By default, all website content is All Rights Reserved. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, display, perform, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any part of this website without our prior written permission, except as permitted below.

Permitted Uses (Fair Use / Fair Dealing)

The following uses are permitted without prior consent, provided they are non-commercial, properly attributed, and do not misrepresent our work or views:

  • Personal, non-commercial reference: You may read, download, and print individual pages for your own personal, non-commercial use.
  • Sharing links: You may share links to any page on increeks.com.
  • Brief quotation: You may quote brief passages from our editorial content for purposes of commentary, criticism, review, or news reporting, provided you attribute the source as: Increeks (increeks.com).
  • Media / press: Members of the press may use Increeks' publicly released press materials and brand assets for editorial coverage, subject to the attribution requirements in the How to Attribute Us section.

Blog & Editorial Content — Creative Commons

Where a blog post or article explicitly carries the notice "Licensed under CC BY 4.0", that specific piece of content is published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence. Under CC BY 4.0 you may:

  • Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
  • Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.

The licence conditions require that you:

  • Attribute the work to Increeks using the format described in the How to Attribute Us section.
  • Indicate if changes were made and not imply that Increeks endorses you or your use.
  • Include a link to the CC BY 4.0 licence and to the original article on increeks.com.

Content without an explicit CC BY 4.0 notice remains under the default All Rights Reserved terms.

Open Source Components

The Increeks website and our software products are built on open-source software components. We are grateful to the open-source community and comply with all applicable open-source licences. Key components and their licence identifiers are listed below:

Full attribution notices and licence texts for all open-source dependencies are available in the THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES file included in our source repositories, or upon request at hello@increeks.com.

Increeks' proprietary source code is not open source unless explicitly stated in a specific repository with an accompanying open-source licence file.

AI-Generated Content

Increeks uses AI tools as part of our creative and production workflows. Our approach to AI-generated content is governed by the following principles:

Ownership

To the extent that intellectual property rights subsist in AI-assisted or AI-generated outputs produced by Increeks using licensed AI tools, those rights vest in Increeks under applicable law. We rely on the terms of service of the AI platforms we use, which generally assign output ownership to the licensee (Increeks).

Important limitation: The copyright subsistence of purely AI-generated content (i.e., content produced by AI with minimal human creative input) is currently unsettled in many jurisdictions, including India, the US, and the EU. We make no guarantee that copyright protection exists in outputs where the creative contribution of a human author cannot be clearly demonstrated. We advise clients who receive AI-assisted deliverables to seek their own legal advice on this point.

Disclosure

Where a material portion of published content (e.g., a blog article, design asset, or marketing copy) has been generated or substantially assisted by AI, we disclose this fact in the content itself or in an accompanying note. We are committed to transparency about our use of AI tools.

Human Review

All AI-generated content published by Increeks has been reviewed, edited, and approved by a human team member before publication. We do not publish raw, unreviewed AI output.

Training Data

Increeks does not use client data, user-submitted content, or third-party copyrighted material to train AI models without explicit consent and appropriate legal basis.

Client Deliverables

The ownership and licensing of deliverables created by Increeks for clients is governed by the specific contract or Statement of Work (SoW) between Increeks and that client. In the absence of a specific contractual provision, the following default terms apply:

Custom Development & Design Work

  • IP transfer upon full payment: Ownership of custom-developed software, design assets, and creative works transfers to the client upon receipt of full and final payment for the relevant project milestone or engagement. Prior to full payment, Increeks retains all intellectual property rights.
  • Third-party components: Deliverables may incorporate open-source software, licensed third-party assets, or AI-generated elements. The client receives only the rights Increeks has the ability to pass on. Where open-source or third-party licences apply, the client must comply with those licence terms independently.

Increeks Portfolio Rights

  • Unless the client has entered into a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with Increeks that expressly prohibits it, Increeks retains the right to display completed work in its portfolio, case studies, and marketing materials, including on increeks.com and social media.
  • Portfolio display is limited to visual/descriptive showcase and does not constitute a transfer of confidential business information or proprietary client data.
  • Clients who wish to restrict portfolio use must include a specific prohibition in the signed NDA or project contract prior to project commencement.

Pre-Existing IP

Increeks retains ownership of all pre-existing intellectual property, tools, frameworks, libraries, design systems, and methodologies used in producing client deliverables. Clients receive a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use such pre-existing IP as incorporated into their specific deliverable, but do not acquire ownership of that underlying IP.

User-Submitted Content

When you interact with Increeks through our website — for example by submitting a contact form, a project brief, a quote request, or any other written input — the following terms govern the content you submit:

  • Limited licence for service delivery: By submitting content to Increeks, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, store, and process that content solely for the purpose of responding to your enquiry and delivering the services you have requested.
  • No publication: We will not publish, share, or display user-submitted content publicly without your express written consent.
  • No transfer of ownership: You retain ownership of any content you submit. The limited licence granted above does not transfer any intellectual property rights to Increeks.
  • Confidentiality: Project briefs and business information submitted through our website are treated as confidential and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not share submitted briefs with third parties except as necessary for service delivery and subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.
  • Accuracy: You represent that any content you submit does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party, and that you have the right to share it with us for the purposes described.

Third-Party Attributions

The Increeks website and its published content may incorporate third-party materials that are used under licence or with attribution. These include:

Stock Photography & Illustrations

Where we use licensed stock photography or illustration assets, we hold the appropriate commercial licences for those assets. Specific attribution is provided where required by the applicable licence terms.

Fonts & Typefaces

Custom or third-party web fonts used on increeks.com are licensed for web use. Attribution for Google Fonts (licensed under the SIL Open Font Licence) and other font licences is maintained internally.

Icons

Icons from the Lucide icon library are used under the ISC licence. No additional attribution is required but is given here for transparency.

External Research & Data

Where our editorial content cites or incorporates data, research, or statistics from third-party sources, we link to or credit those sources inline within the content.

If you believe we have used third-party material without proper attribution or in violation of a licence, please notify us at dmca@increeks.com.

DMCA & Takedown

Increeks respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users and third parties to do the same. We respond promptly to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement submitted in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA, 17 U.S.C. § 512) and equivalent legislation in other jurisdictions.

Counter-Notice

If you believe that material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice with our DMCA agent. Counter-notices must comply with the requirements of 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3). Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will restore the removed material within 10–14 business days unless the notifying party files a court action.
